Growing Tobacco

An excellent summation.

Are there any other choices?

It is odd that you said you didn't want to debate your habits, and your wishes were promptly disregarded.

The way you say that, it sounds like a bad thing. What's up with that?

You've cut me to the quick.

And what will be stooping me from doing myself? I'll just put my desire to be buried in my twenty acre garden in my will.

I knew a guy who refused to wear a seat belt because he wanted to be thrown clear of the car. The EMTs of my acquaintance call that being Ejected From The Vehicle, a phrase that frequently proceeds And Then Struck A Tree And Died.

Seat belts save lives. Wear one. Except for that Brooklyn dude.

And then there are those in chemotherapy who are nauseous and can't eat but cannabinol alleviates these symptoms and allows them to eat. The problem is, if they have to swallow a pill, they are just as likely to barf it up as not. Whereas if they smoke their cannabis, they can more easily regulate the amount that they need without getting nauseous. We really aren't sure what cannabis is good for because the federal government will only fund research into the dangers of cannabis.

Best thing I've heard about cannabis is that Shelly is against it. Since Shelly is just about always wrong, it bodes well for cannabis. Of course if he heard about our local "Gay Pride Parade" he would probably have a coronary. So don't tell him about

Seatbelts are why racers are able to walk away from 200+ mph crashes. Imagine being ejected at nearly four times the old double nickel speed limit. The cops will need bloodhounds and a spatula to recover your remains.

The righteousness of the majority sometimes can be nauseous. What these people claim or appear to not see is that just makes some parts of the minority more insistent. Others in that minority change quietly. Once this portion of the minority is gone, the chatter just makes the remainder dig their heels in deeper. This is the entertainment value for the majority as they know that's the case. Someone to look down on, tax to desperation, and publicly scold.

Alcohol comsumption and its addiction will never receive that kind of treatment to that extreme. Not as long as the vast majority is within that defintion. All counter replies will only confirm what I just said.

I googeled "cannabis, cancer". I thought that it would come back with studies on lung cancer but it didn't. It came back with an article on, "Researchers find a link between marijuana and testicular cancer",

, which should be a relief to Shelly. He has no reason to worry. However, the study was "funded by National Institutes of Health, the National Institute on Drug Abuse and the Fred Hutchinson Cancer Research Centre." Two governmental bodies that never fund anything that is positive about cannabis. As we all know, if you pay for a study, you usually get the results that you want.

Then I came across an article that said,"Cannabis specialist GW Pharma said on Wednesday cannabis extracts could be used to treat cancer, schizophrenia and diabetes, and it plans to ramp up research into the latter over the next six months." . . . "Cannabis is already widely used by Multiple Sclerosis sufferers to relieve pain."

't forget though, cannabis can be detrimental to your freedom.
