Didn't work out. They all (that I have pulled) have rotted bulbs :(
Leave the rest in or pull them and replace?

what didn't work out? a bit more description would help.
if there is any green growth or any live roots on them then they may flower this year or you can eat them as a green onion after they grow a bit. the smaller plants may bulb out.

They finally did bulb out, made for tasty green onions, which was their intended destiny.

i'll be the first to admit i don't know enough about growing onions.
