I have a Neff gas hob, with electric ignition. The problem is that the first time it is used for a few hours, the ignition spark keeps on sparking even after the gas is lit, even though I follow the instructions to hold the knob in a specific position for 10 seconds. The only way to stop it is to turn it off and then on again many times.
Is there a simple thing I need to check/clean etc before I call out the engineer ?
Funnily enough I have the same problem. Clicking eventually drives you up the wall. Only seem to do it in winter months when house is colder. We stop it by swiching it on and off on all the dials. Let us know if you have any joy with a cure Ceej
