83 is a mic from an old telephone.
78 is a surgical tool.
79 is a tool for installing snaps or grommets.

Yes, If you unscrew the lower part of the hand-set, you'll find this mic.

There is a surgical tool similar to this, but that's not what this one was made for.

This one isn't for snaps or grommets.

Yes, it's a wire spring relay from the phone company.

Also, thanks to all who answered my original question about the center gauge notches.
