Kids today. Hmph. We just needed a big Crescent wrench and little Crescent wrench. None of this preadjusted crap.
I wonder where he got the metric set. They're kind of hard to find locally.
I wonder how long he took to adjust each wrench to the proper settings.
Seeing this I know under stand why some people have dozen of tool boxes full of tools. ;-)
The automotive department at Walmart? To the right of the blinker fluid?
You should see my set of diagonal cutters. One for each length of wire that I might need. All pre-adjusted, of course.
They're not that hard to find. I have 150mm, 200mm, and 300mm Crescent wrenches. They're really nicer than that. Flip them over and they're a set of 6", 8" and 12" SAE wrenches. Really handy to have both sets.
Judging by the number of people around here actually using the stuff, it must be hiding behind the toilet paper.
Those must be really handy. I usually cut wire too long and I have to throw it away. I waste a lot of wire.

It's nice being able to see every wrench size! LOL
LOL! That must be the way that they did things back before there were standards (1880s?)!!! At least it helps get around the SAE/Metric dilemma--One set should suffice (even one wrench...)!

You mean one set of wrenches to tighten bolts and a separate set of wrenches to loosen bolts? I think with Crescent wrenches it is officially correct to keep the fixed blade on the side of the nut where the force is being exerted/pressed. And the adjustable blade is opposite. So you could either turn the wrench over, cheat basically. Or have a complete other set of wrenches. The proper way.
But, as I said earlier, mine are metric on the other side.
I don't turn my wrenches over, I turn them around.
