I am interested in purchasing the Powermatic 20 inch planer (Model 209) but no one seeems to have one in stock. The quoted delivery seems to be in late February to early March. Is this machine that good? Have they depleted the inventory and the rest will be made using cheaper materials? I do know that most machines (including the powermatic line) this size are made overseas, but I do worry about the quality of the new ones? I have been looking since mid-January for one.
Any thoughts? Dale
