Was that the elusive and evil "cheesy spamela"? Haven't you seen the commercial with movie stars in it?
It's legit.

That is called argument from irrelevency. 'legitimacy' is irrelevant to the question of whether or not a communication is spam.

Doesn't matter, because of what the communication actually is. Spamela would be asking anyone to buy junk, as in it's definition:
"junk on your screen".
It's just asking for charity. No harm done.
