long ways most woods take three coats. but it dries fast for a oil/ wax and it is far harder then normal oil and wax combo's. it leaves nice shine and it is very easy to use. I use it on my tools.I would use it over any oil/wax combo. it's far less work and looks nicer. bit it is spendy so don't let air ruin it. bloxegen works well to get the last drop out of the can.
Thanks, Steve. I have two of your planes and the finish is quite nice. You had told me you use "hard to get" finish. Have you tried it on walnut or maple?
yes and it worked fine. though I don't remember how it was on walnut. but maple it works well. oily woods take more coats I have found.
yep you found the only us importer I think there is. I am lucky and I can get it locally.
