Have old block plane. It is stamped "w.thackeray planemaker ", remainder of stamp cannot be read.

I have an idea.
Sharpen it, use it, love it, clean it.
That's four ideas. any one will do.
But what sort of idea were you after?

Goodman (British Planemakers) has the following:
