lost arts press - opinions?

I've gotten books from them. Publisher Chris Schwarz and his team do a great job... The books are high quality with acid free paper, sewn signatures and quality covers. The most recent books I got are "Mechanick Exercises" by Moxon and "Door Making and Window Making."

I first met Chris years ago when he was editor of Popular Woodworking. He came to my club's annual show in Saratoga Springs, NY. I happened to run into him at the Lie-Nielson booth--Tom was there. Over the years Chris was invited back as a professional presenter. He has also presented at the Fine Woodworking event at Colonial Williamsburg, VA. He's a serious student and practitioner of woodworking and does a great job sharing his knowledge. Making high quality copies of the old books available to the masses is an extension of that sharing.
