My local Lowes is clearing out the Dewalt DW443 6" random orbital sander (looks like an angle grinder) for $56. I don't think this sander is competitive at the full $140 price, but for $56 it is a steal (in my opinion).
They are also clearing out the Makita copy of the PC 690 fixed/plunge router kit for around $173. That is still too much in my opinion. What was Makita thinking? Why not make a better router (think Milwaukee's bodygrip) rather than just copying the 690 and making some slight improvements?
