Delta 15-091 Drill Press - Anyone Own One?

Feb 19, 2009 Last reply: 5 years ago 4 Replies

I need some physical measurements off of one. Not available in the book or from Delta that I can find.

If you have one and can operate a caliper, I'll owe you a big fat favor and/or send you a goodie from here if I have something you need within reason.

(I would need manufacturer's blueprints and not just the part's drawings from Delta and they don't exactly want to give me that info.)

I have a 17-900 if that helps.

Thanks for the offer. Appreciated!

I've already got the specs on the 17-900 though.

FYI if it matters to you and anyone else, the Delta 17-900 is the same basic machine (as far as the quill goes anyhow) as the following units also on the market:

DAYTON 3Z917E, 3Z918, 3Z918F, 3Z993, 5Z146 DELTA DP400, 17-900, 17-901, 17-950L, 17-959 GRAINGER 3Z917E, 3Z918, 3Z918F, 3Z993, 5Z146 GRIZZLY G7943 & G7944 JET JDP-17MF PALMGREN 80153, 80154

Some may be floor models and some bench models, some may have slightly larger or smaller motors than others, and some may be USA vs Canadian models... but they all are almost identical in the quill area.

It's been 12 years since this post, but maybe the reply will find it's way to someone that still cares about the question. I have a Delta 15-091 floor stand model.
