Saw these handplanes in Highland Hardware. Anybody have experience with these? Is this a cheap price on a good plane, or just a cheap plane?

Made in India I believe. Like an off the shelf hardware store Stanley it's no L. N. but, with a little elbow grease applied in tuning, it, it can be turned into a fairly decent working tool.
