I went down to the tip the other day - sorry, that should be 'Waste Transfer Station' unless they've renamed it yet again.
I had a boot full of stuff that had accumulated over time, stuff that couldn't go it the various recycling bins & bags we have at home.
There are lots of skips which will only accept specific types of material and they are very particular about what goes into each location. Yet again, I ended up going home with some stuff that either seemed to not fit any 'approved' category, or I must have missed it somewhere up near the entrance, and the road is one way.
Is this a common problem? Am I the only one who has the wrong sort of rubbish?
P.S. Before they let you in, they now insist on seeing some form of ID with your home address on it. Clearly we can't have strangers sneaking into _our_ tip with their foreign rubbish.
