How many do B&Q actually sell though? I can't imagine many ordinary punters buy boilers there (not after the grief I've been through recently trying to find a CORGI who will fit a boiler procured by the customer, as opposed to supplying and fitting...) and/or do CORGIs themselves really go shopping for boilers at B&Q rather than their local plumbers merchant?

They do, at the B&Q Warehouses. You can buy all the components of a heating system from B&Q.

It is possible that some of the ones who do service the low end of the private rental market ("Rachman" and co.) might do. However they wouldn't be buying a _condensing_ unit then, when you could get one from a PM for

310+VAT. I which case it might be just down to whether the shop or the shed is more convenient.

Provided you don't mind using rubbish like TRVs that don't last.

Mr Cranium, you can buy all the bits. You must understand this.
