Wire to support overhead cable

I need to install a string of decorative lights over a ~10M outdoor space.



Rather than have the cable taking the weight in both calm and very windy weather, what wire(?) would I need to install to hang them from and what fixings at the ends of the wire please?

Similar catenary wire kits available from Ebay (some with thinner wire).

You will also find similar kits is you search for Garden wire for climbing plants (kit).

If the wire is only going to be supported at each end you need to properly secure the fixings because there is quite a bit of strain on them as you pull the wire tight with supplied turnbuckle wire tensioner.

a decent length of nylon rope. Tie to something.

I would think a stranded steel cable would be ideal
