What are ELV lighting connectors called ?

Apr 18, 2005 5 Replies

What's the technical name for the 12volt connectors used in ELV halogen lighting circuits?

Any source for them ? - I've tried a couple of local electronic places,

and B&Q and Homebase don't seem to have them.

they're about 3mm by 6mm cross section ,have two pins, and a slight locking action. I'd rather use them than poke bare wires into my transformers.

TIA

Yes - It looks quite like the female one in this pic, except the latch is on the slim side. (I have one marked 'KDDT U' but this reveals nothing in google.)
