Waterproof seal

Jun 14, 2004 1 Replies

I am building a small waterfall and want to bond some stone slabs to the pond/waterfall liner which is butyl/plastic. What is the best way/product to achieve a waterproof bonding please? Is it a special cement mix or a type of sealant? The waterfall slabs are about 12ins by 9 ins. Dennis Skinner, Wetherby

Hi,

Probably best to seal the stone with something like Bondaglass G4 then stick the liner to that. Butyl rubber can be bonded with contact cement like Evostik but if it's plastic a different glue will be needed.

cheers, Pete.
