Running minidlna from a Debian server.
Worked fine for 4 years with LG TV.
All of a sudden, it's started dropping playback and disappearing off the network for ages.
But *only* on the TV - other UPnP clients on the network (VLC) seem quite happy to play on -and on - and on.
Have reset everything I can thing off, still doing it.
Logfile doesn't show anything except:
upnphttp.c:1061: warn: HTTP Connection closed unexpectedly
Which sounds exciting, but it's been doing that for 4 years.
I can workaround for a few days with memory sticks, but it's not the full answer.
It's not a buffering issue AFAICT, since when the network has been pushed, the playback pauses with a spinning disc. This is a pure dropping off the network.
