Although he has the joke arse about face IMHO, the BBC nationals are predominantly on the left of the VHF dial.

He did a better job of his radio tuner than the designer of my biscuit tin did of his UHF one.

The Beeb does depend on redistribution of wealth so its hardly surprising it's a bit leftish. If and when the license fee is abolished, they'll swing to the right.

An interesting quirk of roads in Salford leading to media City is that the right turns from several of the major dual carriageways do require you to be in the left hand lane and tunnel under the main road!

The one near Salford University is particularly lethal with many strangers in entirely the wrong lane cutting across traffic!

The right turn you actually want here is on the left (but beware of the bus behind you !!). Be a miracle if the link works A6/A5063 junction
