Just wondering - is it better to tile behind the bathroom wash basin or around it?
I already fixed it to the wall , but can easily unscrew/unsilicone it..

I would definitely remove it and tile behind it - much less fiddly than tiling around it, unless you have a strange basin with a rectangular footprint!
