Can anyone recommend an electronic deterrent?

I found a good solution was to feed them! Put the feeder away from whatever/wherever they are being a nuisance, keep it filled with peanuts and they're happy (or they were where I lived and had an issue).

Hmmm... it never has that effect on me.

That depends on the usage case, most electrical devices are going to shock any creature, so if you want to stop squirrels nicking bird seed you probably have no chance. On the other hand if its entry into buildings of any living creature, it might be easier to do, but even then making a space animal proof may be easier. I mean an AI driven zapper able to recognise a squirrel is a tall order. Brian
And them forget where you buried them. I have never had much luck with ultrasonic cat repellers either, they come along and play with them. Brian

We keep them off our bird feeder with an inverted plastic dome.
It was clear when we bought it, but now has a nice green algal coating.
But I hear chilli powder works. Birds can't taste it.
