The wiring in the dining room is nearly complete and the walls will soon be being skimmed - now we need to choose paint colours. The arguments (sorry, discussions) have already started with me being told "you can't have red again, I want green". Can anyone recommend software to help visualising the different colours, ideally something that will accept photographs as input?
Software to help with choosing room colours?

Well i spend a long time mocking up rooms in 3D CAD. The colours and even curtain pattens can be applied to surfaces.
I use a very expensive program but I believe sketchup is adequate.

Why not compromise and have Blue ?.
Tell her (or him) Fired Earth don't do that colour.
Unless you have a computer and monitor that can accurately show the colours (difficult), online software is only ever going to be an indication. There are simply too many factors to consider like Time day (colour temperature), Time of year, sun in or out, artificial lighting, shadows, whether you two can actually 'see' the same colour, etc etc
I have fresh paint that looks different colors according to the texture of what its been painted on.
Frankly its a toss up. Pick something near and learn to love it.
So that would be a penis then?
You are obsessed with shagging. There is more to life than sex, you know.

Your opinions are worthless. Just do the colours she wants as everyone else does.
Thanks
I've calibrated the monitor in the past but have long since forgotten how I did it. I agree there are many variables, but at least it will give an indication ... and, while we're looking at the red scheme, I can arrange for some bread to be in the oven and for Vivaldi's 4 seasons to be playing ;-) I just need to think of something awful to play when we're looking at the green scheme.

I think I have found a use for Katie Price.

How did you get on with it? It worked on my S4mini but played up a bit on the A5.
I've installed it on an Android tablet but haven't used it properly yet ... the reviews are very mixed so I'm not optimistic.
