The elderly cultivator I'm persuading to work (!) - getting more fun out of tinkering with it, than I ever will using it - has a basic air filter box containing some sort of foam. This needs replacing as 40 years plus of life and its proximity to the silencer means that the foam has effectively collapsed. Judging by the condition of the engine oil when I drained it, TLC has not exactly been spent on this machine.
Any ideas for a DIY replacement as there is no way I'm going to be able to get the original part.
