My wife understands her limits, which are pretty low on technical stuff. Her last car I gave her a shortlist of two, told her which I thought she'd prefer, and why. She tried them both and agreed.
Though she would still like a too-small-to-be-practical Cinquecento, and it must be coffee coloured...
Her skills are in other areas. She learned enough Japanese to be useful before we went on holiday there :)

I did suggest her final choice as a possible option. But she went and test drove, talked to them, etc.
Mine teaches computer science at degree level, and is working on a Ph.D. But her B.A. is in English and American literature, of which I know little.
I am also CS, but different areas. She tells me off if I try to design databases. But leaves electronics to me!
You can buy adaptors, or you keep the remnants from where you snapped it out of, and use that as an adaptor - Just the non-contact side, down on sellotape sticky up, followed by the sim, finally, trim the edge with a pair of scissors.
giffgaff sent me a new one and Bob gave me a link for porting the number to teh other phone so all set.
Wasn't me; I trimmed that message too much!
Not needed any sellotape on any of the SIMs that I've used. Swapping between micro SIM & nano SIM several times caused no problems however longer term changes would probably induce wear so that there would be no snap when combining the two parts. Even so the combined parts could still be used with care.
