*rsed up paint job...

Hi there doodlets.

I've been painting the bathroom, and arsed up a tiny section of the wall... it's B&Q's satin range, i guess it's emulsion.

It's on quite thick, and i can't seem to chisel it successfully, and i have an orbital sander.

I'm aware it's my own fault, my hands are aching from using the orbital sander, but it really isn't doing it's job. I think i'm using it right from what i've read of the instructions; is there any easy way to get the paint off? I'm regretting diy-ing the bathroom now but best get it done i shuppose now that it's a bit of a state.

It was a state before mind, mould etc, but it's a tough job :-(

Did the "satin" smell strongly when applied? Does the tin have a "VOC" label? What level is it?

What is the nature of the "arse up".

Christian.

P.S. I would rarely strip paint from a wall. Consider using filler.

Yes, the mind boggles at what sort of *arse up would then involve "chiselling" the paint!

lol, no kidding. Why do so many posters ask questions without giving even the most obvious of necessary info?
