But hey, 'that's democracy' for you, let us (where 'us' is only 52% of those who voted) forge ahead with it all regardless ... because 52% of people have said we should (by tossing a coin in many instances) at that instance in time ...

I (personally) didn't lose because I didn't vote (and still couldn't) but we may well all end up being losers as time may well tell. ;-(
