Amazing stuff, but how do you know where to pitch your bid? I see that they regularly sell luxury-looking yachts for £10,000 and upwards, but that's not much help when you're after a CCTV camera...

That's the fun of tender sales, its not like eBay where they only take what's needed to beat the highest contender. With tenders you bid what you are prepared to pay and take your chance that you may have got away with bidding 50% or less.
