So far as I can see, you are the only person posting here who has ever had any problems with push-fit fittings, and that appears to be directly linked to your failure to follow the fitting instructions. However, you persist in making claims about them based solely upon vague generalisations.

If it's the "users of push-fit pipework" game then he obviously *is* in the game. If it's "IMM/Drivel's fantasy world" game then no, I suspect he's not.
Just out of interest, but without much hope of getting a sensible answer, if you are a professional plumber, which trade magazines do you read and how many other plumbers do you speak to on a weekly basis ?

As I said, much earlier, you really don't know what you are talking about. Any problem that was as widespread and serious as you claim would have been covered in detail in the trade magazines. You would then be able to post details of when and where such discussions have happened. You have not done that and all you can do is repeat a variant of 'I heard it from a bloke down the pub'. I must, therefore, conclude, as I suspected from the start, that you are simply trying to justify your own inability to follow the installation instructions by condemning the whole system and trying to justify that by inventing supporting hearsay evidence that cannot be verified. As I don't want to continue the Panto routine of 'yes it is' / 'oh no it isn't' any longer, I now consider this matter closed.
