PIR floodlight

I think I have the same one. Panel is designed for remote mounting? Like yours, mine?s worked faultlessly since purchase. Doesn?t stay on long but as it?s only used to light a passage when I put the bins out it?s perfectly adequate.

All that says is you've never had a 'conventional' 500w floodlight. The bulbs in those about the shortest lived of any tungsten.

Nooo!. Had those. Lasted about a year

About five years ago I bought some 15 LED PIR security lights from ebay. The solar cell has a 5 metre cable to site it in the sunshine.

Of the five installed only one has had to have the battery renewed (from an old phone) about 2 years ago, well before the first lock down.

They continue to work today even in winter with less daylight.

I have just checked on ebay and using

as a searrch string should bring up the the type I purchased.
