"Britain?s Imperial War Museum has issued a statement apologising for staging a ?woke? rap showcase at the end of the two minutes silence held on Remembrance Sunday, which prompted a mass exodus by members of the public".

"In a statement sent to the MailOnline, the Imperial War Museum (IWM) said it had been working for four years to create a platform for 11-to-18-year-olds to share their perspectives on war and engage with the gallery?s collections".

"While the Last Post, a symbolic and short bugle tune, is often played to mark the end of a two-minutes? silence observance, those gathered at the IWM on Sunday were treated to a rap performed by a youth music group funded by the Arts Council.

Witnesses told the Daily Mail that the rap engendered a mass exodus of people from the taxpayer-supported institution, with members of staff equally as shocked by the performance.

The Daily Mail was told that the rap contained references to ?white privilege and how racist Britain is.?

But won't have worried those who left when it started. Except to Mail readers who were shocked in their absence. What on earth would they do without something to get enraged over?

Oh poor dears. I thought this was supposed to be a free speech country. I'm pretty sure I recall this event being advertised, so well,, people did not have to go there there were myriad traditional events on the day after all. Brian

Only if what is said agrees with their views.

Mail readers likely don't like any music later than the 60s.

It is, but that's not the same thing as a country where the government supplies funds for small groups of pansified black egotists to offend members of the paying public.

I don't.

But they did have to pay for it.

Most people attending the IWM on a Remembrance Sunday would have expected a traditional event.

Seems only yesterday the same was being said - if you change black to white - about the Last Night of the Proms.
