If you were able drive the van to a certain football-mad country, I wouldn't dream of thinking of anything as cheap as London:

Yeah, he kills vans very quickly.
Mileage. I do more miles pa than all the other vans added together.
That would seem to be an argument for you having the best van in the fleet.
the fact that all your colleagues all get new vans and you get their cast off vans is trying to tell me something about you... :-)
all official work mileage and unofficial personal mileage all on the AllStar corporate credit card by any chance? :-)
If the company uses leasing/contract hire for new vans that'd push up their costs. May well be cheaper* to give the new vans to those doing fewer miles and buy one at end of contract to pass on to Adam.
*what is "cheaper" is of course more complex than just the direct costs of the vans but cd still be true
That is bean counter thinking. Production engineer thinking is that the person who does most miles needs a very reliable vehicle.
If true then their "need" will be reflected in the cost/benefit calculation. That's why IME good production engineers quantify costs and benefits of options rather than relying on what they think is obvious.
Maybe it has been better than the other Fiats.
Nar, they caught him doing the personal mileage and made him stop doing that.
The 19 plate van is pretty much a right off. Needs a new engine.
I think we need to go back to Fords
I had last weekend away in Filey. Much cheaper for a pint than in my village.
Would have been cheaper but Filey has a cocktail bar and we had quite a few in there. They cost a few quid.
Oh well, the next time you're in Filey the Lifeboat would no doubt appreciate a "virtual pint" at local prices! By the way, did you go to Filey in the van?
I'll take a photo of me making my donation next time I go. That is a good cause.
I left the van at work. Normally I do take the van as I often have to call into Bridlington Spa to swap an emergency light whilst I am holiday.

And walking around that dome is a good experience.
