Looking to replace a Moto G 2nd gen with a 3rd gen for a family member.
Would be great if it were the dual-SIM version.

there are several dual-SIM variants.
Only two of those, the Indian and the Asian, ones seem to cover all GSM/GPRS/EDGE/UMTS/HSPA+ and LTE bands used in Europe and the US which is where the phone is likely to be used.
The Indian variant also has a faster and better CPU (8 instead of 4 core) - the XT1557, so I would rather go for that one, and found an online supplier.
Based on the above, will it work in the UK/Europe/US?
