crushed limestone is MOT type 1 and it bloody well is porous. Huge gaps between the lumps that eventually get filled with porous limestone.

"Resin bound" is porous; "resin bonded" is not (as stated in the link you gave).

Just had mine done with resin bound, 100 m^2. Very happy with it.

A house near me has a one-piece concrete frontage accommodating four cars, patterned using rubber moulds applied before it went off, obvs. THe contractor told me that the concrete was a high cement mix.
