Well, there used to be and probably still is or are what we used to call Friday afternoon made devices. It applies to cars as much as anything else. Just sometimes a flaw creeps in un noticed and the hapless folk who get those items think the world is out to get them. A friend of mine had a Fiat aptly Named Tipo like that, with wing mirrors that fell off the steering wheel stalk cracked and was hanging from its wires after the third left turn and then the tailgate spring detached nearly taking his eye out and on returning it the burr on the top of the drivers door cut his face. This was some years ago now and he is no longer with us, and hopefully no other poor sod got it. Brian
