i've had numerous of these deliveries in the past few months, they all go ...

we're expecting it we've got it in london it's arrived in northampton it's arrived in leicester it's out for delivery it's been delivered

every one the same

except this is parcel force, not royal mail.

When I said pretty much the same thing a few months ago, I was told that they are the same thing. Which is it?

Yes. I had some returns. No courier ever arrived. I took it to the local post office which is a designated parcel point and got my money back in

48 hours.

Couriers are not interested in co;lectins from individual hard-to-find addresses.

"Parcelforce and Royal Mail are both owned by International Distribution Services (IDS), a British company that was fully acquired by Czech billionaire Daniel Křetínský's EP Group in a major takeover completed in late 2024/early 2025. "

clearly we know that, it's like saying Plusnet and EE are both owned by BT, it doesn't stop them differentiating their services ...

I believe parcel force is simply the royal mail parcel service

Kind of, the label printed on this PF delivery says RM. but everyone else is saying they don't get hop-by-hop tracking from RM, where I do from PF (but not the drop-by-drop tracking which their website claims)

+1

Two appointed collections not even attempted by Evri. Seller told me to donate the goods to charity if I didn't want them.

Here's my latest tracking ...

There is a BBC Panorama program about Evri this evening. Parcel theft, dumped deliveries, lost deliveries, plus poor pay, and conditions for their operatives.

I wonder if there will be an opportunity for me to call in and say that we have never had any of those problems here?

As for DHL and FedEx, well........

Well I have had some and all of those issues with a selection of couriers.

They simply dont pay enough. Id rather get royal mail frankly - that usually works.

Well exactly. But I did manage to get something to my niece in cape town in 3 days tracked all the way...

There simply is no pattern. Sometimes it works,. Sometimes it does not

I wonder if there is a BBC producer who got fed up with being on the receiving end of poor deliveries, and decided to strike back?

In some areas RM is not too good. They have a serious issue recruiting and retaining staff.

Yes. I hear horror stories about a lot of places, but here I have a GP practice half a mile down the road that does blood tests and has a dispensary, and the local hospital is well above average, and the crime rate is very low and MOST of the couriers are pretty good.

As people keep saying, it's down to different managament and staffing in different areas. Hereabouts (South Suffolk) Evri, DHL etc. are all mostly OK. Royal Mail have very friendly staff delivering but they are not very reliably quick.
