I don't.
But I do inspect the wheels and get the alignment checked, which reduces the risk. And then I keep it for... lets see... this one I've had since
2001, the one before was written off when I'd only had it a couple of years, the one before that I put over 100,000 on it before I decided it was past its best... so it doesn't happen nearly as often as new tyres.Andy
