I've not tried the carrot thing, but I have on occasion accidentally paid the wrong amount due to it not scanning properly. They never walk over and say I've done it wrong.

I picked up a pack of 5, which was supposed to be opened into singles before going on the shelf, but they had forgotten. The bar code indicated to the till that it was 1. I found 5 in it when I got home. I kept the other four. You have to take all these little extras in life.

I find with anything like that I just put on a tubigrip type of thing. Keep the joint or muscle warm and straight and it will heal.
