Do new Iphones still have that problem where they can only take a picture in 1 of 4 orientations? Don't they have the detector so it can tell which way up you're holding it? I tried my VKWorld phone (a quarter of the price of an Iphone for the same specs), taking 4 photos: portrait, landscape, and both of those upside down. All 4 photos were saved upright.

Have you tried this? I just downloaded "precise level" from Google Play. It's wrong! If I level the phone according to it's readings, and place an AA battery on it, it slides off.
Ah, there's calibration required, perhaps phones don't have that good a sensor, I'll have to have a go at it with a ball bearing.
Well I cannot see pictures but my phones pictures will OCR which ever way around they are. I'm not sure about stills from movies though. I do understand so many people seem to video in the sideways mode for some odd reason, but this I don't care about since I do not have eyesight to see them. I too wish he would not come up with rude and stupid addresses and just do like everyone else does, remain annon or put the real address. I don't get any more spam one way or the other these days.
