ISTR we have quite a number of the "copy, copy rubber duck - you're hitting me at 9 pound mate" brigade on here, so hopefully they'll know this item for what it is. Google Lens was of no use in this instance, which is unusual but hardly unprecedented. I bought a load of stuff from a woman whose hubby who was a ham had died and there was a box of a couple of hundred of these things amongst all the other electronic detritus. Can anyone ID them? If not I'll just bin 'em.
Power tetrode, possibly 4cx250 or similar, but I've never seen them gold plated. If working could be worth £££.

It's a UHF Coaxial Tetrode . It looks similar to one I have here which fits in a huge brass cavity I've got. It did about 800W on 432MHz until I had a flash-over which destroyed the PSU
Mine is an RCA 7650/7651. Which seem to fetch quite a bit on e-bay

Okay, thanks, guys. I'm not accustomed to seeing valves in non-glass envelopes so presumably these are for higher frequency stuff. I'll check out the specs now I know better what I'm looking at. Cheers,
