I'm enjoying most other people being locked down.
Buses are quiet, streets are quiet, shops are quiet after the queue to get in.

Well, my commute got a lot easier, but the coffee machine gossip is a lot worse.
Spending more on food, but almost nothing on petrol.
And feeling very glad that I have a 3m square garden office to put all the various bits of electronics in, where they won't annoy my wife. One of my junior colleagues shares a house; he's got it all set up in his bedroom.
One of my sons, OTOH, is in a flat with no garden, no TV and no internet... well, he does like to meditate!
The other one is a critical worker and says he's never seen the M25 running so well!

Those who are making a big thing of being confined should consider people like POWs who spent years in far worse conditions, without regular contact with family even by mail, limited food, .....We?ve been asked, in most cases, to limit ourselves to essential trips out, food is only a problem due to people panicking, we can still go out for exercise etc, to get food, contact with family etc is generally easy, ...... The government have committed to financial aid in the vast majority of cases where people will be adversely impacted, .......
Meanwhile, people in the NHS, shop workers, lorry drivers, ( insert key workers)... are working flat out and others sit and whinge (not you Alan) they want a Universal benefit, they can?t do this or that, ......
Trust me she will still be annoyed.
It's in their blood.
mine must be special then ......
Some are sent out to graft 14 hrs / day while their husbands sit on their backsides. It is hardly surprising they get annoyed.
my wife would love to go back to work but her knees won't allow it .... `But I'm quite happy that she doesn't...
Unless its her office.... Brian
Try putting it in her orifice.
Pity you haven?t got the ?knee man? who did mine up there. He is brilliant. This stem cell stuff is magic. I can walk as far as I like.
Why send your wife out to work unless your pension etc isn?t enough? The idea of retiring is to travel, do hobbies, spend time with grand children, ......
yes I had no intention of going back to work when I went at 57......she packed in her job when we had to look after my mother and when she cacked it in 2012 she never went back to work as I didn't see the point and when I fell sick at the start of 2014 she was a godsend...however she likes having her own money so I transfer £800 into her account every month...but....she covered for a friends job couple of years ago and realy fecked up her knees which have been bad for years but she enjoyed being back at work as she likes to do a good job.....so she is losing weight and it is helping her knees and the doc said she can have new ones in a years time...but that offer will be well fecked now....
mine must be special then ......

Many of us are ;p
So you control the money and give her pocket money?
A bit Victorian, isn?t it?

Good to hear it :))
I was in the queue to get in Lidl the other day with a bit of a monk on. Then it occurred that I normally stand in an interminable queue at the checkout and probably now wouldn't. I didn't and overall it was a better shopping experience. They can keep it up as far as i'm concerned.
They could even sell queue jumping passes like at the theme parks.
Hasn't made much difference to me, apart from the fact that almost all everywhere is shut.
The queueing and one-way systems should be retained or brought back in for Christmas.

"YOU PAY"
"YOU GIVE"
YOU CONTROL.
I'm not surprised, your attitude to women is obvious.
You gave yourself away long ago over the driving etc, the pocket money revelation was just confirmation- like Rambo's bogus comments over the years, his letting the cat out of the bag yesterday just confirmed his situation.
Do you 'give' her 'house keeping money' as well?
God, this is the 21st Century!
Classic controlling relationship.
