Thinking of getting a Nest G3 learning thermostat. Anyone got any experience of them?

It depends what you want it for.
Piss easy to wire up.
But the savings vs cost to buy one are going to take long time to recover.
Just convenient really. Sometimes I get home at 2pm sometimes 7pm. Got one at Wickes for £179 with my TradePro card.
