I want to buy a couple of Velux centre pivot roof windows and am measuring up between two purlings. Does anyone know whether the sizes stated in the catalogue need any extra boundary around them when fixing. I can fit one (P10 model) in between the purlings but with only a couple of inches above and below so need to know it will fit. Any help welcomed.

There are strict measurement for fitting Velux windows. You have to allow
50mm at the top and bottom when cutting out for the top and bottom trimmers. Different roof slates and tiles require a set distant at the bottom of the frame from the top of the first slate or tile that run through.Join the Discussion
