A "balanced flue" the fire needs to be sealed from the room, to maintain the balance in the flue, so I don´t think there are any with radiants.

Pretty sure I have seen caravans with such fires so some may run on bottled gas, i.e. propane or butane.

It seems there are some 'fireplaces' where everything is behind glass, so there's no gas or fumes coming into the room. Some do LPG. Not cheap, but some examples:

Go for a sealed system with a balanced flue. The type where there is an open flame on radiants are terrible for causing condensation as water is a by product of burning LPG.

GAzco, in Devon will do stoves that have a balanced flue that goes through the wall and were available with the correct LPG jets.

I have the earlier style of through the wall balanced flue which is stainless steel. The latest stoves have an aluminium flue that is cut to the correct length on site. The flue that I have is only suitable for a wall no more that

I don't want this stove (+ flue), you can have it for free but I am in West Sussex and it is HEAVY. If you can arrange transport, and Gazco can still supply an LPG kit its yours.

They are about £3000 new !.

you can, the term you're looking for is "flueless" rather than balanced flue, #i can only see living glame types. But you need the equivalent of a 4"x4" ventilation opening to the outside.

Having lived somewhere with one of those, I was very pleased to leave. The room was constantly cold and draughty due to the 100mm hole in the wall. I managed to freeze water inside one winter.

I suppose it might be OK if you can duct that cold air directly up to the fire rather than crossing the room, but a room sealed appliance (balanced flue) is a much better idea.
