Looking for stainless steel 'T' section strip trim to place between kitchen worktop sections.

Does anyone know a supplier of a stainless steel 'T' section strip trim to place between kitchen worktop sections. The 'T' is to be about



6mm wide and fit into a gap between worktops of about 1mm.

I guess a grey plastic would also work, can anybody here suggest any suppliers?


I would strongly recommend that the job is done properly without the s**nk strips. Or is this a quick fix to an existing setup?

It's a bodge! Is your term 's**nk strips' the term for these things?

I thought it was supposed to be "Salmonella strips"? ;-)

I'm not having any luck finding any strips using that term. Do you have any manufacturer or distributor that you can point me to?

B&Q do them. They are even listed on

as "butt joint aluminium", costing 7 quid a pop. They also do corner joints and end caps.
