Loft ladder replacement springs - IMG_0619.JPG (0/1)

Where can I get replacement springs for my loft ladder, a photo of which is attached? Spring measurements are:

wire diameter 2.4mm coil diameter 23.9mm length 180mm extended length 450mm number of coils 52

Any help appreciated.

Oh no it isn't! [This is a text-only Newsgroup]

If you want to show us a photo, you need to upload it somewhere[1] and post a link here.

Oh yes it is in my Pan Newsreader! Actually it's not attached, it shows as a separate post.

That might be so but, neverthelss, the attachment has been posted and accepted by the server as a 9147 lines long post entitled "Loft ladder replacement springs - IMG_0619.JPG (1/1)" which decodes nicely as a picture of his loft ladder spring tensioning mechanism.

No need. The 'damage is done'. It's a "bit naughty" to post large attachments to any text only newsgroup so follow that advice for next time.

The point is that not all servers will have accepted a binary in a text group so the o/p's audience will be limited.

The server that Roger uses is very commonly used by posters here so I'd expect at least half the audience to be in the dark.

Most text only new servers will strip out the attachment. I see no photo in this posting.

The first time I opened the OP there was a photo as part of the message. Now it's gone.
