Keystone loft ladders

Anyone got any experience of these? The 900 x 600 suits the existing opening, whereas similar products by Screwfix and Wickes are 1100 long. They look similar but the brochure doesn't go into too much detail (right near the end of the pdf)

the main builders merchants supply them but I doubt I'll find stock

anywhere. TIA

It looks like the one we had fitted (just moved into the house and had no time to do it myself) that was bought at Costco. Chap who did it said it was better than the one he had at home. Good sturdy construction. Would look better and show marks less if the wood (ladder and frame) were treated. When I get a round thingy... I've put spring lock washers under the heads of the screws that attach to metal parts of the mechanism as they were getting slightly loose after five years, hindering smooth operation.

Very happy with it an would recommend it.

Thanks for the comments. As it happens, the goalposts have moved a little and the Abru wooden ladder that I can pick up from my local Tesco tomorrow afternoon has been given the thumbs up (a good deal at £92). It was beginning to look as though getting hold of the Keystone would take time. No lack of space in the loft, so an up and over will be fine, and the drop down hatch can wait.
