Help with your opinion – University request for su rvey participation with prize draw

Oct 18, 2011 9 Replies

Hello,

If you want to help research and get the chance to win an iPod or vouchers from Amazon/M&S/Sainsbury's, then read on. . . I am a PhD student from the University of Exeter and currently running a survey that looks at how people think about different aspects of climate change.

By doing a simple survey you can make an important contribution to the understanding of people's views on climate change and you will help me a great deal in my personal research.

As a token of appreciation, you will enter a lottery to win:

-- 1 iPod touch or a voucher from Amazon/M&S/Sainsbury's

-- plus either 5 iPod shuffle or vouchers from Amazon/M&S/Sainsbury's

Your opinion counts.

To start the survey, just follow this link:

a) click on it or b) copy the address into the address space of your browser (e.g., Firefox, Internet Explorer)

Some comments from people who already participated:

"Good work and I really appreciate what you are doing" "Interesting questionnaire" "certainly made me think"

Of course, your responses will remain anonymous and treated in the strictest confidence.

Many thanks in advance!

Adrian

Mr Brügger

Since you are keen on surveys please answer a few questions from me:

a. why have you posted a totally off-topic message in breach of accepted Usenet practice?

b. who is conducting the lottery you mention, and when and where will the winners be announced?

c. why is the survey using a site registered by you personally rather than the university's site?

explain why you sit around all day long in your underpants and dressing gown, dribbling, as you stare at the screen tapping away at the keyboard.

Ever thought of joining the police ?

That doesn't necessarily make him WRONG though :-)

Frankly, my dear, I don't give a damn.

Were those three people yourself?

Bog off and die in advance!

Which is more than you could do about typing.
