Anyone know if anyone on the high street sells black or brown cable for burglar alarms? I only need about 20 metres and dont want to spend =A340 quid n ordering online. thanks.

Slide the white cable inside black heat-shrink sleeving and then shrink it gently.

How much of this cable is visible? Can you just use white, and paint the exposed bits? How about using black aerial sleeving.

It can be done in sections of heat-shrink, not all in one go. Even easier with a ferrous aglet crimped on the end of the cable, dragged along with a strong magnet outside the sleeving.
How do you think seriously obese people get their pyjama cords in?
