Many years ago, we installed a kitchen in our first house - and swmbo wanted the worktop to be made from 1" mosiac tiles.
The man at the tile shop sold us some colouring and some epoxy grout - and we spent every night for a week going crazy - trying to get the d**ned stuff into the gaps between the tiles and cleaned off the top of the tiles before it set like rock.
Now, quite a few years later, our new kitchen 'apparently' needs a tiled worktop. (Aaaarrrrgh !)
Can anybody tell me if grouting technology has progressed in the intervening 20 years - and if there's a durable grout available that sets well - but gives you enough time to work it before it goes off ??
